How dry is the DriFresh Dry Extraction System?

When you clean with DriFresh you are using about 1 teaspoon of water per square metre. 

A hot water extraction machine uses 10 - 60 times that amount, depending on the machine.  Some machines use 1 - 2 gallons per minute - one company advertises 4½ gallons per minute. 

When you are finished cleaning the carpet is dry and ready to walk on.  When wet cleaning is finished, they need fans and dehumidifiers to dry the carpet.  If they are lucky and the humidity is not too high, the carpet may be dry in 4 - 6 hours. 

The Industry Standard in the IICRC (International Institute of Carpet Restorers and Cleaners) S100 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Carpet Cleaning, is the carpet must be dry 24 hours after cleaning is done.   24 Hours later - That is not dry carpet!!

What factors contribute to carpet's deterioration?

How can the DriFresh Dry Extraction System renew the health of carpet?

• The Extractor-Vac draws out the dry dirt, grit and soil from the fibre of the carpet.  The counter rotating brushes lift and clean the matted pile to rejuvenate the carpet.

• The DriFresh natural organic sponge material is a soft, moist carrier containing biodegradable mild detergents and solvents.  It deodorises and sanitises, whilst absorbing and removing the soiled and oily residue from the carpet.  The soil laden sponges are extracted leaving the carpet clean and completely dry.
